Collaborations

Sure Hands Lifts | United Spinal Association | Accessible Hunter

I’ve had the opportunity to team up with some incredible disability brands to create cartoons that spark laughter, conversation, and connection. This page showcases those collaborative projects where humor meets advocacy and accessibility shares the spotlight with a side of sarcasm.

Sure Hands Lifts

If you’ve ever had a spinal cord injury, chances are you’ve had to use some sort of lifting system to get in and out of bed. Most paraplegics and low-level quadriplegics can learn to transfer on their own, but for quadriplegics like myself, we rely on various lifting systems for our transfers. This is my interpretation of how it feels to be transferred in a sling, from my perspective and my wife’s.

Wrecking Ball

Quad Wife

Sith Eternal

Be Brave

Christmas Special: Top Half

Ceiling lifts have been a lifesaver for me and for my wife’s back. I’m forever grateful to have had access to my Sure Hands ceiling lift, and I’m thankful that they appreciate my cartoons enough to want to collaborate.

United Spinal

United Spinal is one of the largest resources for individuals with disabilities in the United States. They are on the frontlines of making airlines safer and more accessible for wheelchair users.

Accessible Hunter

I created this comic strip for my friend Greg over at Accessible Hunter. He runs a platform that inspires countless individuals to get back outside and into the woods to do what they love, regardless of disability. He teaches hunting and wilderness skills from a wheelchair. Check out his stuff!
