Social Media Design

Social media advertisement design applies core graphic design principles like layout, typography, color, and imagery to create eye-catching, platform-specific visuals. It balances branding, clarity, and hierarchy to quickly communicate messages, drive engagement, and encourage action within fast-scrolling digital spaces.

This project involved developing a cohesive set of social media designs for Whinny and Mane Horse Sanctuary to support fundraising and awareness across Facebook, Instagram Stories, and TikTok. The designs prioritize emotional storytelling through intimate, authentic imagery of rescued horses, paired with warm, natural brand colors and clear calls to action to encourage donations and engagement. Each layout was optimized for its platform—using square and vertical formats to maximize mobile visibility—while maintaining consistent typography, logo placement, and messaging for strong brand recognition. The design approach balances compassion with clarity, using hierarchy, contrast, and restrained copy so the imagery carries the message and reinforces the sanctuary’s mission of care, refuge, and community support.

This project features a pair of social media graphics created for Margherita’s Brick Oven to promote a limited-time offer across Facebook and Instagram. The designs translate the brand’s handcrafted, local identity into platform-specific layouts by pairing bold food photography with a warm red brick texture, consistent logo placement, and clear typographic hierarchy for mobile readability. Each asset was optimized to its format—square for feed visibility and vertical for immersive story viewing—while maintaining consistent messaging, color usage, and tone. Visual storytelling and strategic calls to action were used to drive engagement, reinforce brand recognition, and support both organic and paid social campaigns through cohesive, accessible design.
