User interface (UI), user experience (UX), and web design work together to shape how people interact with digital spaces. UI focuses on visual elements and controls, UX centers on usability and flow, and web design brings both together to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging online experiences.
FutureFunds Financial Planning Services
The FutureFunds project features high-fidelity desktop and mobile wireframes designed for a financial planning services website targeting young professionals. The wireframes focus on clear information architecture, intuitive navigation, and task efficiency, with key features including service discovery, a financial calculator, and an appointment scheduler. Layouts were structured to reduce cognitive load by grouping related services, using recognizable icons, and establishing a predictable visual hierarchy that supports user confidence across devices.
To validate the design, a moderated usability testing plan was developed to evaluate navigation clarity, form usability, and overall user experience. Testing centered on realistic, task-based scenarios such as locating blog content, using the financial calculator, and scheduling a consultation. Participant feedback and observed behaviors informed how effectively visual hierarchy, layout, and interface elements supported comprehension and ease of use. This approach demonstrates how usability testing directly informs graphic design decisions by ensuring visual systems are not only aesthetically cohesive but also functional, accessible, and user-centered
Perfectly Peppy Pet Hospital

This project involved creating high-fidelity desktop and mobile wireframes for Purrfectly Peppy Pet Veterinary Hospital with a focus on usability, accessibility, and brand consistency. Informed by UX research and course analysis, the site structure was refined to improve navigation, visual hierarchy, and task flow across the Home, About, Services, and Contact pages. Key features include clear service cards, strong calls to action, and an intuitive contact and scheduling experience. Accessibility considerations such as readable typography, button sizing, and contrast were integrated throughout. This project demonstrates my role as a graphic designer who applies UX principles to create visually cohesive, user-centered digital experiences.
