Memorial Exercises

Project History

Years ago, as a civilian and budding graphic designer, I began creating a design template of the 2/75 memorial exercises to honor my friend, Sergeant Leandro Jasso, after his death in Afghanistan. My initial plan was to share the design through my Redbubble shop so fellow Army Rangers could display it, but the idea of profiting from a memorial piece did not sit right with me. Months later, after my friend Sergeant Cameron Meddock was killed in action, I committed to documenting every 2nd Ranger Battalion memorial workout from the Global War on Terror. I asked a friend still serving with 2/75 to photograph the gym memorials, and this design project took shape.

The designs below are displayed in reverse chronological order and honor fallen Army Rangers through their memorial workouts. Each design is available as a sticker, magnet, or print. All proceeds from every purchase are donated to veteran nonprofits, including the Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund, the Sua Sponte Foundation, and the Pointe du Hoc Foundation.
