2025 Review: Thanks For Visiting

Rebranding and changing platforms is always a little intimidating. I had hosted my blog, Life Keeps Rolling on Google Blogger since my injury in 2017, and while it served me well for years, I realized last winter that I had outgrown what a free platform could offer. If this blog was going to keep evolving, it was time to upgrade.

That decision led to the “formal” creation of Limp Wrist Art in March. I originally built the site while preparing for SCIboston’s winter gala, where I was selected as one of the featured artists from the New England disability community. I wanted a central place where people could explore my artwork, my growing graphic design portfolio, and the blog that has been a constant in my life. Life Keeps Rolling now lives within Limp Wrist Art, and the support it received throughout the year exceeded anything I expected.

I was nervous that it would not have the same success nestled inside of my portfolio, but the transition to a WordPress site quickly proved worthwhile. In 2025, Limp Wrist Art reached roughly 6,000 views from about 2,000 visitors, averaging three post views per visitor. Seeing that level of engagement is a truly rewarding feeling. I’m observing real, authentic interactions where visitors are genuinely reading my posts and exploring my art and cartoons. It’s humbling to know that others are interested in what I have to say. I try not to take that for granted.

Nearly half of all visitors were referred through Facebook, with the remaining traffic split between search engines and Instagram. This reinforced something I already (sort of) knew. My people (this direct community of support) are what drive my engagement—more than algorithms ever could. I am so grateful for authentic sharing. It makes what I’m doing feel truly personable.

Showing up consistently was a big proponent to Life Keeps Rolling‘s success this year. I published 29 posts totaling about 22,500 words. One post in particular, “A Thursday with Josh: Living with SCI,” stood out with around 350 views and an average five minute read time. I really tried to let down my guard for this post, so seeing a response like that feels extra special.

Advocacy content was also a prominent addition to my blog. This page alone received more than 600 visits, confirming that these conversations are relevant and necessary. It reminds me why I continue to write openly about disability, access, and my lived experience.

One of the biggest surprises I got from analyzing the metrics of my website was its reach. Readers visited from all across the world, but the top five countries that explored my site were from the United States, as well as Singapore, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Knowing that my content traveled that far makes my work truly feel much bigger than me. I’m also very proud of the accessibility of my website, where non-English speaking countries are able to fully navigate my content.

This year also brought professional growth. Launching a portfolio alongside the blog led to commissions and contracted graphic design work I wouldn’t have had otherwise. While coursework limited how much I could design this year, graduation is close, and I’m excited about what 2026 will bring.

My goal is to make this kind of annual review a tradition. Granted I missed about a quarter of the year by starting this new venture in March, looking at these insights helps me understand what’s working well, and more than anything, it reminds me why I started writing in the first place. If you visited, explored, shared, or took some time to read this year, thank you. Your support is the life breath for Limp Wrist Art and Life Keeps Rolling.

I’m so grateful you’re here.
